Tuhin Sen is a CPA with fifteen years of experience in financial consulting for the home healthcare industry. Mr. Sen earned his MBA in Business Administration from Akron University in Akron, Ohio, in 1988. Shortly thereafter, he began his career in the home healthcare industry as the Controller for First Choice Home Healthcare, a large, hospital-based home healthcare agency in Columbus, Ohio. In 1994, Mr. Sen formed Sen & Associates, Inc., a financial consulting firm, specializing in home healthcare and based in Columbus, Ohio. |

These services include financial and tax planning as well as preparation of financial statements and tax returns, preparation of Medicare cost reports for home healthcare and hospice care, training and assistance in Medicare billing under the current PPS environment, and varied financial analyses to determine corporate strengths and weaknesses with an eye towards profitability. Through financial analysis, Sen & Associates has increased profit margins for some of its customers by as much as ten to fifteen percent. |
Mr. Sen is widely known in the home healthcare industry. He has spoken at HCAA and OCHC conferences and has conducted “how-to” seminars on the mechanics of Medicare billing under PPS. His knowledge of the principles of Medicare reimbursement is both current and extensive.
