Point-of-Care > Schedule Calendar 
Upon opening the schedule feature, you will find several tabs at the top of the screen, four of which offer different perspectives of your schedule.
Schedule Entry / Day View / Week View / Month View 

From any calendar view, the top menu will allow you to access specific information:
    - Patient/ Employee: Select one patient or employee schedule to view.
     - Forward    and Back Arrows: Scroll through days, weeks,    or months.
     - Print    Schedule: Print the schedule in    calendar or text view.
     - View:    Choose to see one employee's or one patient’s schedule at a time.
     - Show    Unassigned Items: Display patients without an    assigned employee.
     - Show    Cert: View current or most recent    certification periods when a patient is selected, highlighting the    five-day window for 485 and OASIS data collection.
 
Schedule Entry Tab

This tab displays a grid of scheduled appointments. You can click any scheduled item to open the Add/Edit Schedule dialog.  
Filtering the Grid
    - Time    Frame: Choose to display schedules    for one day, a week, a month, or a custom time frame.
     - View    Options: Show schedules for one    employee, one patient, or all items within the selected date frame.
     - Filter    Icon: Apply filters to any column,    such as viewing only items with a visit status code of 020. To remove a    filter, click the filter icon and select (All).
 
Day View, Week View, and Month View

Appointments are displayed in a calendar format:
    - Non-Patient    Appointments: Identified by a thumbtack    icon.
     - Special    Visits: SOC (Start of Care) shows a    plus sign, Recert shows a 485 sign, and Supervision visits show two    people.
     - Color    Codes: Green entries indicate the    assessment has started; gray entries have not.
     - Unassigned: Schedules without an assigned employee appear as red with a plus sign.
     - Recurrence: Schedules that are a part of a recurring set. 
 
Permissions
Only employees with the correct security settings can add/edit schedules for others. If permissions are limited, options to change the employee on the schedule will be disabled. Employee Schedule Security Settings (Employee Security, Schedule Calendar) (barnestorm.biz)
Directions/Map
    - Using    the Map: Select a visit and click the    Directions/Map tab to calculate routes between appointments. An internet    connection is required.
 
Case Load

    - Comparing    Visits: Use the Case Load tab to    compare scheduled visits for each employee over a week. Apply filters for    specific programs or revenue codes and view visit counts or hours.
 
Settings
    - Customization:    Adjust settings such as military time preferences, which are saved for    each user and loaded automatically for future visits.
